This morning saw an early data collection session so Don and Will could do the early morning wreck dive. The underwater visibility was a bit better than the day before, as you can clearly see Rocky pulling on my wetsuit zipper’s leash! Was he trying to get me to play tug-o-war?? We also had mutual observations by Tilly, Sandy, and Kami (seen below) – sometimes I half expect the dolphins to whip out clipboards and take notes about me!
There was much play today – mutual chases and rubbing and some joint object play. Rocky, Buzz, Tank, Kami, Sandy, and Poli were all enamored of my fins today …
And Kami enjoyed mouthfuls of sargassum.
This photo reminds me of Hazel and her “pleasant pheasant” toy at home that she carries around gleefully!
Bill and Don took a slow day while Will dove nearly all the dives today. The night dive was moved from tomorrow to tonight to avoid the potential weather from Milton that we might get tomorrow. Yes, that storm is so big, we might feel some of the wind and rain from it. We are sending positive thoughts to folks in Florida to ride through the storm well.
Tomorrow begins with another early morning session … we hope the conditions are good in the morning.
Until then,
Cheers
