RAIN! Muddy Waters …

The rainstorm at 4 AM woke all of us. It sounded like reindeer running rampant on the roof! The water visibility was next to nothing. We could not see the sea grass just below the surface near our cabins! Still, Bill, Marie and I went over the Baileys Key to see if maybe the underwater visibility would be better there. It was not. It’s hard to collect data when you won’t be able to see anything on the screen.

So, Bill and Marie did some diving. I reviewed some video and read some papers and I gave a talk this evening about all our research conducted here with the RIMS dolphins. Check out a future blog when we announce how you can access my talk (we recorded it).

Tomorrow is our last full day here. It’s still raining but we hope it will subside and maybe clear a bit. Until tomorrow,

Cheers
