Hello all! I'm not used to writing field reports in December! But, next week will mark the beginning of DCP's first winter Bimini field season. It is abbreviated (relative to the summer) and somewhat experimental, however, I am greatly looking forward to confirming the year-round presence of the Bimini Atlantic spotted dolphin population – and hopefully get a few more glimpses of those bottlenose! I'm traveling from Anchorage, AK again, so my journey will begin late in the evening on 28 December…and 'll eventually arrive on Bimini in the morning of 30 December. Stay tuned!! -Kel ps: I had to pretend it was already 2007 to trick the computer into placing this post into the right section – don't worry, I'm not wishing the new year away!
