What:
This field program offers an 8–day research experience, assisting in long term data collection of bottlenose dolphins ranging in age from a few months to more than 40 years. Participants on this DCP program assist with surface data collection and data analyses — as much or as little as you’d like!
Details:
DCP fee includes: 7 nights’ accommodations at AKR, 19% hotel tax, 3 meals/day, airport transfers on Roatan, entry into Bailey’s Key Wildlife Sanctuary, paddleboarding, kayaking, lectures, 1 dolphin swim/encounter, snorkeling and/or SCUBA, & more.
Key Superior rooms include air conditioning & a small fridge.
Rates vary for SCUBA diving or snorkeling.
Airfare, Honduran departure taxes, bottled water, soda, alcohol, snacks, gratuities NOT included in the field cost.
Additional Notes:
Participants must be at least 18 years old.
U.S. guests must have valid passport – more than 6 months from expiration.
