Preparation for a Week on Roatan at AKR

It’s been a busy week preparing to meet the students from St. Mary’s University (StMU, in San Antonio, TX) for a week at Anthony’s Key Resort (AKR) to study the dolphins at the Roatan Institute for Marine Sciences (RIMS). Our student group is 14 plus two professors. They head to Houston from San Antonio tomorrow for an early departure on Saturday. I head to MIA on Saturday morning.

My week has been busy in other ways as John, Baloo, and I welcomed Hazel to our home and family! She was 8 weeks old on Monday and is full of energy and has really sharp puppy teeth! The front photo shows that Baloo and Hazel bonded quickly for which we are happy! John will have a busy week and I look forward to hearing about their antics as much as observing the dolphins at RIMS with the StMU students!!

We hope you’ll join us here at the DCP blog to learn about our experiences!

Tomorrow night, this blog will come from all of us, and not just me, John and our two beagles!

Cheers

Kathleen
