As many of you know, 2020 has marked the 20-year anniversary for DCP. During these difficult times, there are many things for which we are grateful, and we wouldn’t have reached 20 years without your support.
Now, in light of the pandemic, we are staying in contact with the communities that make our work possible—including in The Bahamas and Honduras. We are developing ways to support our broader DCP community, such as through new, free, online STEAM programming. We have worked with our university and field partners to reschedule spring field courses. Every day, we look forward to getting back into the field. Every day, we recount the things for which we are so grateful. And every day, we wish you all safety and health.
As part of our 20th anniversary celebration, DCP designed special edition“Hoo-rags.” The Hoo-rag is a quick-dry bandana we often use in the field. Little did we know, at design time last fall, that our Hoo-rags would one day double task as a “face mask bandana.” Given the unique times we live in, we are creatively embracing this concept, and we invite you to join us.
