How long is a dolphin’s memory? How do they recognize their friends?

Dr. Jason Bruck takes viewers on a meandering journey studying one of the world’s coolest animals. This talk covers communication, cognition, and conservation in dolphins and helps illuminate what we know about dolphin behavior as well as how we can use drones to evaluate dolphin health. Dr. Bruck is an Assistant Professor of Biology at Stephen F. Austin State University and an Affiliate Faculty Member of the Unmanned Systems Research Institute at Oklahoma State University. He focuses on dolphin behavior, sensory biology, communication, and conservation technology development.
