I had a nice New Year’s Eve, although the island was probably quieter than the local businesses would have liked. The winds have died down a bit (about 10 knots) so I headed out for a dolphin trip. It was the first time I’ve ever been out without anyone else on the boat- except for the captain of course! It’s also weird to be here without anyone else from DCP. Hopefully I can get everything done….Hopefully there will be enough to do! Unfortunately, this afternoon’s trip was a bit of a bust. We didn’t see any Atlantic spotted dolphins & saw two bottlenose who wanted little to do with us. I’ll have to see if I even got any useable photo-ID shots. Looks like we’ll try again tomorrow! Until then, Kel
