In this Deep Dive, Eric Angel Ramos discusses the clever tactics dolphins have come up with to dine on prey wherever they are! He dives a bit deeper into the mud ring feeding of dolphins in the Caribbean and Florida. Eric is a PhD candidate at The Graduate Center, City University of New York and scientist at FINS. He loves science and animals. And coffee and dogs. This program is geared toward ages 14 and up.
*Update: Eric passed away in late 2024. Since his Deep Dive with DCP, he had completed his PhD, continued to publish, and was a postdoctoral research fellow at Mote Marine Laboratory’s Manatee Research Program. Dr. Ramos was a beloved friend and colleague to many and DCP’s thoughts will remain, always, with his friends and family.
