DCP DRTs

The DCP Dolphin Research Trainees (aka DRTs)

The DRT program is offered to 6th, 7th & 8th grade students from a single school or a school district. The format follows an informal science education program with classes occurring once per week for 12 weeks during an autumn or spring semester. Students learn about dolphin biology and scientific studies as well as the culture, history, geography and other details of one of DCP’s four field site locations. The class culminates in an optional week-long field program with students accompanying a DCP researcher to the field site discussed during the program. Spring 2009 - DRT program
