Final packing and prep to return home.
It always amazes me how much stuff we can fit into a bag when leaving for a trip (for vacation or other reasons). And how small that same bag has become when trying to repack for the trip home. I am no exception in this predicament. However, everyone managed. John and I had four large pelican cases with gear to check. Clothing provides a great cushion around fragile housings and other gear. Bill and I spoke with Peppie and have the dates for next summer (2002) preliminarily set. We will be updating the ecotour page on DCP's web site by the end of September. Hopefully, if you've enjoyed reading about our adventures observing and recording dolphin behavior, you'll want to join us sometime in the future. Tomorrow, I will post the summary for Trip #4. In early October, once we have identified dolphins from video and slides, we will post comparative summaries for all four trips to the Bahamas research pages. And, during this month, I will reply to the questions posted to these field reports. I do apologize for not getting to those regularly this summer. Till Tomorrow, Kathleen
