Cancelled thanks to Mother Nature
So, this morning was spent entering data sheets into the computer and getting ready for the afternoon trip. But, once we made our way down to the dock, it was pretty clear that the boat would not be going out. Just like the system that started Tropical Storm Arlene, there is a lot of activity to the southwest of us, which continues to bring wet, windy weather our way.
Since the last few mornings have been calmer than the afternoons, weather-wise, we’ll try to make up the trip tomorrow at 8:30 a.m. We normally don’t get many morning trips in during the summer, but it is always nice to have a few to compare afternoon data to. We’ll let you know how it goes! Hope you are all staying dryer than us, wherever you are.
